I Have A Conflict With Another Member. What Should I Do?

We provide several ways for you to address a conflict with another member:

1. Block Private Messages from the Member

The first line of defense when you have a conflict with another member may be to ignore the member.

If the problem arises from private messages you receive from that member, you can choose to block the member from sending any further private messages to you.

Having opened a private message from that member, look for these options shown below at the upper right of the message. Choose "block user".

Block User, Private Messages

At any time, you can see a list of users you have blocked by clicking "Settings" near the bottom of your Private Messages box. A list of blocked users will appear underneath the "User blocking" heading. From here, you can choose to un-block a member, if you wish.

2. Contact a Forum Moderator

If the problem arises from dialog with the member in the community forums, feel free to contact a moderator listed for that particular forum and explain your situation.

3. Contact the Group Leader

If the problem arises from within Group discussion or activities, please inform the Group Leader.

4. Report a Member to the Site Administrator

You can make a report to the site administrator about a member - directly through that member's profile.

While visiting the member's profile, hover over "Moderation" on the profile menu, then click "Report Member". A form appears allowing you to describe the issue.
