Privacy relates to the ability of an individual or group to keep their lives and personal affairs out of public view, or to control the flow of information about themselves. Privacy may be viewed as an aspect of security -- one which challenges the balance of trade-offs between the interests of one group and another. What should the boundaries of privacy be? How much influence can individuals and citizen groups have on the industries that most affect our privacy?
